The truth is, nobody is exempt from difficulties, disappointments and hurt in this world. And when bad things happen - often at random, and often, seemingly, to good people - we can be left wondering why, how, and whether there is any hope.
This booklet aims to explore some of the reasons our world and its people experience pain and suffering, and the way God is at work in the midst of our trouble and our wrestling to provide us with courage, hope, and a reassurance that he will never leave our side.
